About a week plus after the wedding, Aslan and I flew to Perth for our mini honeymoon. It was more of a break from the wedding planning. We were there for five days and boy, we ate like there was no tomorrow. Drat. Anyhow, enjoy the photos!
We stayed at Riverview Serviced Apartments near King’s Park. Affordable and all basic needs are attended to, what more can we ask for? (Perhaps washing machine and dryer?)
Our itinerary was a mixture of dining, shopping and sightseeing. We’ve been to Perth quite a few times so, we kinda covered most of the sights. As for food, we went to the must visit eateries. Luckily, we rented a car and that made things a lot easy.
I never had the chance to check out Perth Mint, hence, we went here while waiting for our room to be ready.

The car enabled us to travel a bit far than we would. We went on a day trip to Augusta. Along the way we made a few stops.
First stop, Busselton Jetty, about 2 hours plus drive from Perth. The longest jetty with the length of 1.7km. Aslan and I took the train coz we so lazy. Hahaha.
If it wasn’t for the crappy weather, we would have enjoyed more. Couldn’t go to the underwater observatory coz the water was too muddy.
Beautiful jetty regardless of the stormy weather earlier on.
On our way to Cape Leeuwin, we saw a Cheese Factory at Margaret River and well, why would we miss that chance of free cheese tasting???
Obviously a cheese enthusiast.
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is truly breathtaking. The weather that day was terrible but heck, nothing could stop our enthusiasm!
We found this warning hilarious. Like, DUH.
The scenery reminded me a lot of Northern Ireland.
This was taken as the rain approached us!
Due to the cloudy day, couldn’t see the point where these two ocean meet!

This was taken before the lighthouse, such beautiful scenery!

Posing with the famous Bunbury sunset
We also went to Freemantle Market and well, I think this is a cute photo. Hehehe.

As for dining, we went to Matsuri (Absolutely lovely Japanese restaurant), Little Caesars Pizza, Cicerello’s at Freo and Jus Burger at Subiaco.
Matsuri lunch. Interested? Matsuri is located at St George’s Terrrace, Perth CBD.
Three years ago, my friend brought me to try this awesome pizza place, since then, I make sure I always come back here whenever I am in Perth. Where? Little Caesars Pizza at Leederville.
Aslan and I before the food coma. Between the three of us, we had Tuna pizza, Pisagna and a Red Velvet pizza.
Pisagna: Lasagna on top of a pizza dough!
Red Velvet Pizza. HEAVENLY!
Usually we would go to Grilled for burgers but a friend suggested JUS burger and we gave it a try. Not bad for a change.

And what is an Australian holiday without a trip to the fish and chips restaurant? Or in this case, Freemantle? We went to our favorite haunt as usual and order a bit too much for just two persons to eat for lunch.
Aslan instagramming his food before anything else.
Again, before the food coma.
Aslan and I had such a lovely time at Perth. Such a beautiful and peaceful city, ideal for a honeymoon! Till we meet again, Perth!
