I need a life... Hahaha

I need a life… Hahaha

Sunday is rest day but I don’t think my eyes are getting enough rest from all these games. At least I am not addicted to Candy Crush (You are now reading the blog of a former Candy Crush addict by the way… Hahaha). I am totally hooked on Minion Rush. Such a silly game but since I am a competitive gamer, this game is so hard to resist.

Regarding to Minions, how come people are so crazy about collecting the McDonald’s Minion toys anyway? What’s so special about them? Do you get some sort of prize after successfully collecting every single one of them? Weird craze, indeed. I am not one for collectibles. Phew. If not, I’d spend my days at McDonald’s. Haha.

So, what game are you addicted to now?

Another Wedding Video Update

Hello everyone. Sorry for the lack of entries. My internet connection truly is depressing. So depressing, I find it hard to go online. It is in a somewhat mild mood today, hence explaining why I can go online.

Okay, current update with yours truly. Not pregnant. Not yet, anyway. I am getting quite tired of people asking if I am expecting a child every time I fancy eating something. That is a bit too much. I mean, it is the fasting month, of course I will fancy eating something. Sheesh.

ANYHOW… Previously, I shared the video of the Cats FM reception. Today I’d like to share the highlight of our wedding reception held at the 4 Points by Sheraton Hotel, Kuching.

Once I get my hands on the official wedding photos, I will blog about my big day. Hope you enjoy the video!

Love,
E.

Pullman Kuching Citarasa Kampung Buffet Ramadan

It is that time of the year again. No, not Christmas… Ramadan! It is the holy month of fasting but ironically, it is also the month of gigantic buffets and well, everyone I know fancies eating this and that on a daily basis. Hahaha. Jokes aside, I’ve been invited to Cafe Puzzle to try out their Ramadan buffet dubbed the ‘Citarasa Kampung’. It is not disappointing as it features not only Malay cuisines but a mix of Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Western and local Sarawakian dishes. For someone who hasn’t eaten the whole day, very tempting indeed. Now, shall we start with starters?

In the usual Pullman Kuching style, the starter area is full with all sorts of ulam-ulaman, salads and kerabu of all kinds. Trust me, feast for the eyes just looking at them. So, as my mum would often say, eat with your stomach, not eyes!

As for the main course, you are absolutely spoiled for choice. They have various food stations placed around the cafe such as noodle stations (If you fancy less greasy options, this is the one for you but then again, what is life without a little bit of grease? Hehehe) Sushi and Sashimi Station, Fried goodies station, Roti John station, Char Kway Tiaw station, Grilling station and a lot more. Here are the highlights:

Before checking out desserts, I suggest you take a breather after the main course. Just chillax and talk for a bit. Why? They are very generous with their selection of desserts. Trust me. They have ice cream (four flavors in total with so many condiments), ice kacang station and a medley of local and western cakes.

Quickie: Perth Honeymoon

About a week plus after the wedding, Aslan and I flew to Perth for our mini honeymoon. It was more of a break from the wedding planning. We were there for five days and boy, we ate like there was no tomorrow. Drat. Anyhow, enjoy the photos!

We stayed at Riverview Serviced Apartments near King’s Park. Affordable and all basic needs are attended to, what more can we ask for? (Perhaps washing machine and dryer?)

Our itinerary was a mixture of dining, shopping and sightseeing. We’ve been to Perth quite a few times so, we kinda covered most of the sights. As for food, we went to the must visit eateries. Luckily, we rented a car and that made things a lot easy.

I never had the chance to check out Perth Mint, hence, we went here while waiting for our room to be ready.

The car enabled us to travel a bit far than we would. We went on a day trip to Augusta. Along the way we made a few stops.

First stop, Busselton Jetty, about 2 hours plus drive from Perth. The longest jetty with the length of 1.7km. Aslan and I took the train coz we so lazy. Hahaha.

If it wasn’t for the crappy weather, we would have enjoyed more. Couldn’t go to the underwater observatory coz the water was too muddy.

Beautiful jetty regardless of the stormy weather earlier on.

On our way to Cape Leeuwin, we saw a Cheese Factory at Margaret River and well, why would we miss that chance of free cheese tasting???

Obviously a cheese enthusiast.

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is truly breathtaking. The weather that day was terrible but heck, nothing could stop our enthusiasm!

As for dining, we went to Matsuri (Absolutely lovely Japanese restaurant), Little Caesars Pizza, Cicerello’s at Freo and Jus Burger at Subiaco.

Matsuri lunch. Interested? Matsuri is located at St George’s Terrrace, Perth CBD.

Three years ago, my friend brought me to try this awesome pizza place, since then, I make sure I always come back here whenever I am in Perth. Where? Little Caesars Pizza at Leederville.

Aslan and I before the food coma. Between the three of us, we had Tuna pizza, Pisagna and a Red Velvet pizza.

Usually we would go to Grilled for burgers but a friend suggested JUS burger and we gave it a try. Not bad for a change.

And what is an Australian holiday without a trip to the fish and chips restaurant? Or in this case, Freemantle? We went to our favorite haunt as usual and order a bit too much for just two persons to eat for lunch.
